Being Creative
While “creativity” is often associated with skills such as graphic design, it can also be defined as having the humility to pursue perfection, the courage to create changes and the ability to connect dots
Being Strategic
I have learnt to be patient and dance with ambiguity, and acquired capabilities to draw the line between where we are now and where we want to be
Being Hands-on
While I have continued to improve my core skills in strategy, I have also acquired hands-on supporting skills such as photography, photo editing, cinematography, video editing, graphic design and copywriting. The matrix of core and supporting skills have helped me to:
– Design more feasible strategies by having a deeper understanding of how they can be implemented
– Be the bridge between business and creative perspectives to communicate business languages to creatives and provide prescriptive creative directions, and vice versa
– Perform creative tasks collaboratively or independently
